In a word: very. Our wedding backdrops have the appearance of solid stone, but they are actually crafted from lightweight glass fiber reinforced polymer, more commonly known as fiberglass. This strong and extremely durable material weighs just two to four pounds per square foot, so a little manpower is all that will be needed to move the backdrop into storage after a ceremony. If your venue is devoted exclusively to weddings, you may also decide to make the backdrop a permanent addition to your space.

I’ve heard that traditional stained glass art work is delicate and difficult to maintain. Is the stained glass art work in your wedding backdrops any different?
Absolutely. We use a special polymer glass—an alternative to traditional leaded glass—for all of our art glass creations. Polymer glass has the same luminosity, depth, and drama as leaded glass, and the same amount of detail is possible in stained glass designs. However, polymer glass is significantly lighter, much stronger and more shatter-resistant, and far easier to maintain. It is also free of lead, mercury, and other potentially harmful chemicals. These properties make polymer glass a better choice than leaded glass for a variety of applications, including the creation of wedding backdrops.

I’m not sure whether a single piece of stained glass art will work for all of the couples who get married in my venue. Can you help with this issue?
Yes, we can. If you’ve browsed our gallery of wedding backdrops, you’ve already seen the array of stained glass designs we offer. When you order your wedding backdrop, you will get a set of stained glass panels that can easily be changed according to the preferences of your customers. We can also create custom stained glass panels for our backdrops. The custom stained glass would be purchased by the couple at an additional cost. The stained glass would be displayed in the backdrop throughout the entire event. After, this timeless memento can be used as a stained glass window hanging.

What about the backdrops themselves? Are they only available in a single look?
No. The neutral color of our wedding backdrops is what makes them so versatile. However, other aspects can be changed. Inquire about the various column sizes and styles we have available.
